Shockers sign two, await one

CJ-Keyser-Wichita-State-Rim-KissWichita State received two National Letters of Intent this week. The early signing period for the NCAA is from the 11th to 18th of November.

Daishon Smith, a 6’0″ PG from Jacksonville, Florida sent his NLI to Wichita State and will be on campus next season. Smith is currently a sophomore at Tallahassee Community College. Once at Wichita State, he will have two years of eligibility. Daishon is an explosive guard with an arsenal of talents to score with. He is athletic and has a ton of potential to be the future of Wichita State’s backcourt.

C.J. Keyser, a 6’3″ SG from Baltimore officially signed his NLI. C.J. is currently working on a prep year at hoops powerhouse, Brewster Academy. Keyser, 18 years old, is already an athletic phenom. CJ is most recently famous for a video of him kissing a basketball goal that went viral and even appeared on ESPN.

Darrlyn Willis, a 6’8″ forward at Pearl River Community College is expected to announce his decision between Arizona State and Wichita State this Friday, the 13th. The recruiting analysts at unanimously have their crystal balls showing Wichita State as the favorite.
