David Kyles, former Wichita State guard, was at the recent invitation-only camp for the Los Angeles Lakers’ and San Antonio Spurs’ D-League organizations. David traveled to LA on Sept. 18th to attend camp with the L.A. D-Fenders and rounds out his trip in Austin, Texas, today for camp with the Austin Spurs.
Kyles played four seasons at Wichita State from 2008-09 to 2011-12. As a senior David played in 33 games averaging 8.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2 assists per game. He has played professionally in Greece in Division A of the Cyprus league. Last year with Michelin ETHA Engomis, Kyles played in 21 games and averaged 12.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. He was selected to the Cyprus league All-Star team, and his team ETHA Engomis won the Cyprus Cup.
