Nick Wiggins, the older brother of Minnesota Timberwolves Andrew Wiggins, has signed a non-guaranteed training camp contract with the Timberwolves, reports Eric Pincus of Basketballinsiders.com.
Wiggins who played two seasons at Wichita State after transferring from Wabash Valley in 2012, will fight for a chance to make the Timberwolves.
He played in 36 games as a senior in 2013-14, averaging 5.1 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.
After going undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft, Wiggins signed a summer contract with the Sacramento Kings before eventually signing to play in Germany. Wiggins played only 11 games overseas before signing with the Idaho Stampede of the NBA D-League, where he averaged 9.8 points and two rebounds a game.
