On Wichita State’s last day in Brazil, they spent their time giving back to the community. The Shockers with the help of their guides, put on a basketball clinic for school children who live in the favelas of Rio De Janeiro. The team landed in Rio yesterday, and spent the day sightseeing. They are going to get ready and play the Flamengo Sports Club on Friday the 12th. Even while sightseeing on their first day in Rio, the team still lifted weights for an hour. Always doing work, always getting better. Go Shox. It will be televised on ESPNU and most likely ESPN3.com. The winner will play the winner of Alabama and Maryland. This opens up the possibility for a rematch of the NIT Championship game, or for Turgeon to play his old employer. Like I stated in the initial write up of the Puerto Rico [...]
